
CLAY AT HOME KITS
Branding, Packaging and Instruction Manuals
Brief:
To create a logo and brand identity for a new type of way to do pottery from home.
Solution:
In this project it was all about USP, there are existing clay kits you can do from home but all use air dry clay, meaning the functionality of it is limited. The whole ideas behind this project is that it's a beautiful, fully functioning item at the end. The brand needed to reflect the handmade elements of the clay. The logo typography was designed to feel like someone has written it but also easily adaptable to be screen printed onto the boxes. We have kept an earthy blue throughout with a couple of secondary colours for accents. I helped shoot the photography to be natural but beautiful.

After the brand identity was developed, next was to create the instruction booklets. I helped shoot all the steps, helped with copywriting. The tone of voice was all very clear and explained clearly the steps alongside the photographs.
